What is a Bookbuddy?
A Bookbuddy is a mentor who reads, discusses, and explores books with students.
Instead of traditional tutoring, Bookbuddies guide students through stories, ideas, and conversations that make reading exciting.
Sessions are designed to feel like a thoughtful conversation about a book, not a classroom lecture.
You might:
- discuss a chapter from novel
- explore a character's decisions
- ask questions that spark curosity
- help a cild express their ideas confidently
